The lake itself is approx 1 hectare in size with an approx deepest depth of 2 metres set up with 4 swims and a 5th swim on the island which is always a popular swim, 2 of the swims come with wooden chalets of 20m² with solar panels for electric lighting and charging points, and the two swims at the front of the lake come with a 27m² fisherman's cottage with 2 beds, wood burner, toilet and shower facilities always popular with husband and wife teams, a third chalet has also been set up as a kitchen so everything you need is on site. It must be noted this property is situated in an N zone ( nature) and you would not be given permission to live at this property full-time. The property has mains electricity.

I rarely get so excited about a lake but this one is special so much passion and work has gone into creating this peaceful haven for nature.

The lake has been issued a statut of eau libre (open-water) but because the property is private, not stream fed and fully fenced access is restricted to only those invited and therefore offering private fishing. All fishermen fishing lake are obliged to hold a carte de peche ( fishing permit) but this is supplied as part of the package at this lake.

The lake requires some works carrying out and a estimate is in place for these works to be carried out, but even with this work being carried out to to its location it is not guaranteed that a closed water status will be given and the DDT have no issues with a business being operated at this lake as long as the free water regulations are followed.
